We were instructed by the main builder on this project in Hampton Court, brought in specifically to provide our specialist cabinetry and joinery expertise for a bespoke outdoor kitchen.
Working alongside the builder, our role was to design and manufacture cabinetry that would not only complement the wider project, but also withstand the demands of an outdoor environment.
Built for outdoor living
The external faces of the kitchen were finished with bandsawn oak slats, giving the cabinetry a distinctive natural texture that works beautifully within the outdoor setting.
Behind the oak exterior, the internal cabinetry was constructed using marine plywood, chosen for its durability and suitability for an outdoor installation.
The cabinetry was carefully designed and built around a range of outdoor cooking and entertaining appliances, including:
Each element needed to be considered as part of the cabinetry, ensuring the finished kitchen was practical, well integrated and visually cohesive.
Specialist cabinetry and joinery
Being instructed directly by the builder demonstrates the role specialist cabinetry and joinery can play within a larger construction or landscaping project.
By bringing us in for this specific element of the Hampton Court project, the builder was able to draw on our experience in bespoke cabinetry, material selection and detailed joinery, while we worked alongside the wider team to deliver the outdoor kitchen as part of the overall scheme.
The result is a robust, purpose-built outdoor kitchen that combines the character of bandsawn oak with materials selected to perform in an outdoor environment.
